Sen. Ted Lieu describes Lowe's action as "bigoted," Russel Simmons purchases remaining #AllAmericanMuslim ad spots

Home improvement chain Lowe's is under fire after it caved into pressure by right wing bigots, led by the Florida Family Association, and pulled its advertisement from TLC's new reality show series, All American Muslim.

Many have spoken out against Lowe's most notably Hip Hop mogul and activist Russel Simmons who, according to his tweet,  has purchased the remaining advertising spots for next week's show.

Locally, California State Senator Ted Lieu of Torrance has called on the CEO of Lowe's to apologize for the Lowe's "bigoted, shameful, and un-American" action, as he described it in a letter to the CEO.
