Anaheim's Tahrir Square hosts Syrian opposition meeting

Back in late January/early February Southern California's Arab and Egyptian communities were pre-occupied with the #Jan25 Egyptian revolution. Many demonstrations took place in Anaheim & Los Angeles. One of the protest organizers recently opened a restaurant called Tahrir Square. The restaurant is now hosting a meeting for pro-democracy Syrian-American activists in Anaheim. The meeting is organized by the Syrian American Council and the Syrian Emergency Task Force-Los Angeles with guest speaker Ausama Monajed, member of the SNC and editor of the daily "Syrian Revolution News Round-up."
